IPC’s initial product, a 94lb 30kW 480VAC PV inverter, is now CEC listed. It is one of the most efficient PV inverters with 96.5% CEC-weighted efficiency, while providing isolation for standard grounded PV arrays. The industry has growing concerns on Fire Safety of Commercial rooftop PV systems. Two fires have occurred due to a blindspot in current commercial PV inverter systems. IPC has licensed its technology to Lockheed Martin. Together the companies are developing a new Intelligent Microgrid Solution for Forward Operating Bases of the US Army, which will improve reliability and reduce fuel requirements by up to 40%. (Lockheed Martin Press Release)
