Applications:
IPC’s 60kW bidirectional vehicle charger is ideal for DC fast charging of plug-in electric vehicles (PEV), dropping the charging time by 10X compared to on-board low power AC charging systems. High power DC chargers are particularly important for larger vehicles like trucks and buses with higher energy requirements.

It provides a SAE j1772 combi-connector interface and controls to the PEV. IPC’s lightweight bidirectional wall-mount charger can be mounted indoors or outdoors.

The IVC-60kW-480 is also the first bidirectional EV charger capable of providing value-added Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) services. With an additional external high level V2G controller the system can also support microgrid functionality using the stored energy from the vehicle.
